Is TerrainOne Free?
TerrainOne has a 7 day free trial available for all new users, once your trial ends, you will be switched to a subscription model. Either $6.99 monthly or $59.99 Yearly.
Is There Offline Maps?
Not yet. We’re re-building TerrainOne on new architecture and will transition to Mapbox later this year, which is when we’ll build our own full offline map functionality.
How do I submit my own campground review?
Simply navigate to the campground’s page and tap “Leave Review.” You can rate each camp for swimming, campsite quality and scenery, as well as uploading videos and images or providing accurate field reports for other users.
Can I save my favourite campsites or create a trip itinerary?
You can save all of your favourite camps and attractions, which will change the icon shape and be added to your “My Maps” page (the bookmark on your navigation bar). Trip itinerary function will be coming in the near future, we’re building a trip planner like no other.
Does TerrainOne provide vehicle accessibility information?
Yes we do, you can filter the map by the “4WD Only” and “Caravan Friendly” filters, we’ve also added a vehicle accessibility comment panel, which users are encouraged to fill out when leaving a review.
How do the video reviews work? Can I add my own?
Each video review in the “Searching for Australia’s Best Campground” series are filmed and edited by @terrain.scout, or filmed by travelling creators and sent in. You can upload your own videos to any attraction or if you’d like to become a collaborator contact us to find out more. User submitted locations, are coming soon to TerrainOne.
