Our Story
TerrainOne was born out of real-life camping frustrations. After years of traveling across Australia, we kept running into campsites that looked nothing like their online descriptions. Photos were scarce, and reviews were vague or unreliable. Frustrated but inspired, we started filming our own campground reviews on the road and began developing a camping app, to give campers clear, visual insights and useful information. Australia’s very first video-based camping app.
Our Mission
At TerrainOne, we’re helping campers make smarter decisions, faster. We combine high-quality video reviews, user and critic scoring (similar to a “Rotten Tomatoes” for campsites), and real camper feedback to give you the most accurate camping information in Australia.
